Frequently asked questions

How do I delete my account and my data?

Open the app and go to Settings → Delete Account. This immediately and automatically erases your profile, your collection, uploaded card images, card add history, and login logs, and deletes your login credentials. This action is irreversible.

Who can see the cards I add?

Only you, unless you decide otherwise. Every card is private by default. Each card has a "Show in public catalog" switch on its edit screen; turn it on and that one card becomes visible to other signed-in users in Explore, shown next to your display name — never your email address, your account ID or any other card. You can change your display name at any time in Settings → Edit Profile — a nickname works just as well — and the change shows up on your published cards straight away; accounts with no display name stored appear under an anonymous collector ID such as "Collector #A1B2" instead. Turn the switch off and the card disappears from the catalog immediately, name and all.

How do I report a card, or block a collector?

Open the card in the public catalog and use Report card or Block collector at the bottom of the screen. Reports are reviewed by our team without undue delay, normally within one business day, and a card reported by several people is hidden automatically in the meantime. Blocking works both ways: their cards disappear from your Explore feed, and yours disappear from theirs. You can see your reports and undo any block under Settings → Blocked Accounts & Reports. If you'd rather write to a person, email info@cardprime.io — include the card and what's wrong with it, and we'll respond to every report we receive.

What isn't allowed in the public catalog?

Sexual, violent, hateful, harassing, illegal or deliberately deceptive content — including photos of counterfeit cards presented as genuine. Every photo submitted to the catalog is screened automatically before it can appear, and we remove anything that gets past it. Accounts that repeatedly publish objectionable content or abuse other users may lose publishing access or be terminated. See the Terms of Service for the full rules.

Where is my data stored?

All data is stored on AWS infrastructure inside the EU and never leaves the EU/EEA — the Stockholm region for everything, with the single exception of the automated photo screening for the public catalog, which runs in the Frankfurt region because AWS doesn't offer that service in Stockholm. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Is my location tracked continuously?

No. CardPrime only captures your approximate location (rounded to roughly 1.1 km) at the moment you add a card, used solely to detect implausible location patterns for fraud prevention. There is no continuous or background location tracking.

How do I add a card?

Take a photo of your card with the in-app camera (or choose one from your gallery), then enter the details yourself — player, year, brand, series, sport, and grade. There's no automatic barcode or QR lookup; identification is manual.

I found a bug or suspect a counterfeit card — who do I contact?

Email info@cardprime.io with as much detail as possible (card ID, screenshots, what you expected to happen).
